Hands-On History – 18th-Century Musket Drills

Category: Digital Programming, Plugged In To History

Date: April 16, 2020
Time: 11:00 am - 11:30 am

Hands-On History is an opportunity to DO something together! Families or lifelong learners can follow along for at home with crafts, lessons, contests, home and garden projects, or cooking in the kitchen.

On April 16, we’ll demonstrate a Revolutionary musket drill and discuss the differences between British and American drill practices. Kids can grab a stick and join in at home! Live and interactive on Facebook.

Please join us on the Middleton Place Facebook page at 11 am on Thursdays for the latest Hands-On History programming.

Middleton Place is excited to bring you all the best of history programming, right to your screen by launching a new digital content portal called “Plugged In To History.” Digital programming will be streamed online over the coming weeks while the property is closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

We are so grateful for your continued support.
