We Welcome Volunteers

Lend a Hand To History

Middleton Place and the Edmondston-Alston House welcome the time and talents of dedicated, passionate volunteers. In addition to exploring your interests in American and African American history, architecture, agriculture, horticulture, landscape design and period art, volunteers have the opportunity to meet and interact with the properties’ more than 150,000 annual visitors. Volunteers also receive a complimentary membership to the Middleton Place Foundation, are invited to attend educational field trips and lectures and receive discounts at the Museum Shop and Middleton Place Restaurant.
