Middleton Place has partnered with One80 Place of Charleston for the holiday season to assist with their efforts to feed the community. From November 13th – 30th guests of Middleton Place will receive $5 off the price of general admission in exchange for a non-perishable food donation that will support the community kitchen and food rescue program at One80 Place, who will provide 32,000 meals this holiday season. The Restaurant at Middleton Place will also make a delivery of a fully prepared dinner to feed the eighty people expected in the One80 Place cafeteria on Thanksgiving. This meal will include turkey, ham, and all the traditional sides associated with Thanksgiving dinner.
Established in 1984, the mission of One80 Place is to end and prevent homelessness. In addition to their shelter which sleeps 78 children, men, women, and veterans, One80 Place provides medical and legal services and serves over 95,000 meals annually to their clients and members of the community. Middleton Place is proud to play a small role in supporting this wonderful organization. To get involved, visit their website at one80place.org.
This holiday season, Middleton Place Foundation is thankful for local organizations like One80 Place that provide care for the members of our Lowcountry Community and for our valued guests who help us to support them.
