Middleton Place is open on Thanksgiving with no daily tours. The Middleton Place Restaurant and the Edmondston-Alston House will be closed on Thanksgiving.

Barrels were just one of many wooden containers made by a cooper that were used at Middleton Place. Under the tutelage of Middleton Place’s resident cooper, guests will have a chance to try their skill at assembling a wooden barrel.
Program takes place at 11:15 am and 2 pm and includes a 15 minute presentation and time allotted for audience participation. This program is included with general admission to Middleton Place (free for members).
