Make plans to spend Thanksgiving Day at Middleton Place with a traditional buffet meal prepared by the Middleton Place Restaurant and served a chef and attendants in the Pavilion (enclosed and climate-controlled) with sweeping views of ancient live oaks.

General Admission to Middleton Place is included with your reservation. Guests are invited to stroll “America’s oldest landscaped gardens” before and after dinner.

Seatings available from 11 am until 4 pm.

Reservations/Cancellations/Changes to your party must be made by 3 pm on November 23.

$70/Adults, $35/Children (ages 4-13). Ages 3 & under free.
*Foundation Members and Inn guests receive special pricing.*
(Gratuity for your Thanksgiving dinner staff is not included with your reservation.)

Buffet includes coffee and tea. Soft drinks and juice are not included but available for purchase. Beer, Wine and specialty drinks also available for purchase.

In order to allow for social distancing, seating for this event has been limited.  Based on recommendations from SCDHEC and the CDC, guests will be required to wear masks in the Pavilion while not seated, and in public restrooms.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


Where will the dinner be held?
Dinner will be held in the beautifully renovated and expanded indoor Pavilion which is fully enclosed and climate-controlled. 

Where do I park?/Where is the Pavilion located?
All guests will park in regular visitor parking. Check-in at the Visitor Center upon arrival, from there guests will walk to dinner at their leisure before or after touring the property. Guests with limited mobility can be accommodated by request at the Visitor Center. The walk from the Visitor Center to the Pavilion is approximately 1/4 mile across grass.

What should I wear?
This is not a fancy dress event. Keep in mind that you will walk to the Pavilion for dinner from guest parking. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended (please, no high heels). Clothing and outerwear suitable to the weather should be worn and dressing in layers is suggested for walking to and from dinner and touring the property.

Is gratuity included?
Gratuity for your Thanksgiving dinner staff is not included with your reservation.

What if I need to change my reservation?
You may change your reservation by 3pm Monday November 23rd. Call 843-266-7477 for assistance.

What is there to do at Middleton Place on Thanksgiving?

Your reservation includes general admission to Middleton Place. The property open from 9 am until 5 pm. You may arrive at anytime throughout the day and explore with a self-guided tour before or after dinner.

The House Museum will offer self-guided tours from 11 am – 3 pm (may be purchased/scheduled upon arrival).

Carriages, other guided tours or stableyards artisans will not be available on Thanksgiving.

The Garden Market and Nursery and Museum Shop will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.
