Theatrical performances complement a candlelight tour of the Edmondston-Alston House. Adorned in period costumes, performers reflect on past Christmas events that not only touched the lives of the Edmondston and Alston families, but also the city of Charleston.
Tours depart continuously throughout the evening from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Guests are admitted in order of arrival.
Tickets are $25 in advance. Middleton Place Foundation Members receive $5 off.
Online/phone sales stop at 4 pm the day of the event.
Tickets can be purchased at the event for $30.

What time should I arrive?
Tours are given continuously throughout the evening. Please plan to arrive within 15 minutes of your selected time. Ticket times are approximate; please allow for flexibility.
For those paying at the door, you may arrive anytime between 6:30 and 8 pm. You will be placed on the next available tour in order of arrival.
How do the time blocks work?
Guests will be grouped in tours in the order of arrival within each time block. Tours depart continuously throughout the event. (i.g. guests selecting the 6:30 pm tour will depart on their tour in order of arrival/check-in between 6:30 and 7:00).
What should I wear?
Dress in layers for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking and standing. Guests will await their tour outside the house, please dress accordingly.
Is there parking?
No. The Edmondston-Alston House is located on the Battery in downtown Charleston. Street parking is first-come, first-served.
Is this event handicapped accessible?
Due to the historic nature of the house, there is very limited handicapped accessibility on the first floor only.
All sales are final and the event will take place rain or shine.
