Jamal Hall will present his performance and information on the Post-Civil War, Reconstruction-Era environment in South Carolina. As Luke Maddox, Jamal will share how much of the state government under the new state constitution became black representatives, until yet another revision of the South Carolina constitution, stripping free blacks of their many newly acquired rights.
