Indigo, a plant that produces a blue dye, was an important part of South Carolina’s 18th century economy. Under the direction of a costumed interpreter, guests will be using a vat of indigo dye to create their own blue-dyed piece of fabric.
Program includes a presentation and time allotted for audience participation and is included with General Admission to Middleton Place.
