Join in for an evening at Middleton Place benefiting the Middleton Place Organic Farm to kick-off the Stewards of the Soil: Fall Festival. The collaborative dinner, with Middleton Place Restaurant Executive Chef Chris Lukic and special guest Chef BJ Dennis, includes roasted local oysters and champagne followed by a five-course meal featuring vegetables from the on-site certified organic farm accompanied by seafood and meats. Music by the Marshgrass Mamas, a popular all-female bluegrass band from Johns Island.

First Course – Roasted Root Vegetable Salad – roasted turnips, carrots, radish, and beets, M.P. salad mix & tahini dressing
Second Course – Okra and Patty Pan/Peter Pan Squash Gumbo – okra, squash, carrot & turnip gumbo accompanied by fresh local sweet shrimp
Third Course – Carrot and Early Flat Dutch Cabbage Grit Cake – carrot puree, braised E.F.D. cabbage & M.P. farmers salad accompanied by pan seared local grouper
Fourth Course – Trio of Cauliflower – roasted cauliflower, cauliflower puree, pickled cauliflower & sautéed mustard greens accompanied by 12 hr. braised oxtail
