Pinching the Shape: Hands-On Pottery Making

Colonoware, the most common type of pottery used by slaves, commonly took the shape of pinch pots or coil pots. Guests will be able to make their own pinch pots using clay.

Program takes place at 11:15 am and 2 pm and includes a 15 minute presentation and time allotted for audience participation. This program is included with general admission to Middleton Place (free for members).
