Bring your family and friends to explore the Middleton Place Gardens at night in this rare opportunity to experience America’s Oldest Landscaped Gardens in a whole new light. Embark on a breathtaking walking journey through glowing pathways and garden rooms, each designed to honor the site’s preservation. Guided by the rich history and culture of the South Carolina Lowcountry, the gardens come alive with vibrant hues and thoughtful designs. From the brilliance of Camellia Allée under the night sky to the tranquil reflections in the Sundial Garden overlooking the Ashley River, this immersive art experience is both a celebration of culture and nature and a connection with the past.

Garden Lights is self-guided and can be enjoyed at your own pace. Allow around 45 minutes for the full experience.

The Middleton Place Restaurant will be open from 5:00-8:30 pm with a special prix fixe three-course dinner. Reservations are required through RESY, and free admission to Garden Lights is included with your dinner reservation. Beer, wine, cold and hot beverages, and grab-and-go food will also be available for purchase at the Garden Market.
