Enjoy a special evening at the historic Edmondston-Alston House. Take a self guided tour of the festively decorated house by candlelight and hear the Charleston Caroling Company. Warm up in the courtyard with a glass of wine or hot cider where local storyteller, Fouché Sheppard, will perform Gullah Christmas stories. This event will follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and masks will be required inside the house.

What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of your selected time. Ticket times are approximate; please allow for flexibility.
How do the time blocks work?
Guests will be grouped in tours of 15 in the order of arrival within each time block. Tours depart continuously throughout the event (e.g. guests selecting the 6:00 pm tour will depart on their tour in order of arrival/check-in between 6:00 and 6:30).
What should I wear?
Dress in layers for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking and standing. Part of the event takes place outside in the brick courtyard; please dress accordingly.
Is there parking?
The Edmondston-Alston House is located on the Battery in downtown Charleston; there is no private parking. Street parking is first-come, first-served. The closest garage is the East Bay/Prioleau Street Garage, about ½ mile away.
Is this event handicap accessible?
Due to the historic nature of the house, there is very limited handicap accessibility on the first floor only.
