Theatrical performers shed light on a turbulent time in Charleston just before the beginning of the Civil War. Adorned in period costumes, they reflect on the events of the day and how their lives would soon be forever changed.
Tours depart continuously throughout the evening from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Guests are admitted in order of arrival.
Tickets are $20 in advance. Online/phone sales stop at 4 pm the day of the event.

What time should I arrive?
Tours are given continuously throughout the evening. Please plan to arrive within 15 minutes of your selected time. Ticket times are approximate; please allow for flexibility.
For those paying at the door, you may arrive anytime between 6:30 and 8 pm. You will be placed on the next available tour in order of arrival.
What should I wear?
Dress in layers for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking and standing. Guests will await their tour outside the house, please dress accordingly.
Is there parking?
No. The Edmondston-Alston House is located on the Battery in downtown Charleston. Street parking is first come, first served.
Is this event handicapped accessible?
Due to the historic nature of the house, there is very limited handicapped accessibility on the first floor only.
All sales are final and the event will take place rain or shine.
