Celebrate Black History Month and join friends of the Middleton Place Foundation and First Baptist Church at a free public screening of the award-winning documentary film Beyond the Fields: Slavery at Middleton Place on Thursday, February 7 at 6:30 PM.

The Robert Mills designed church sanctuary, completed in 1822, has been lauded as the most perfect piece of architecture in the city. We hope you will enjoy this opportunity to learn new facets of shared history, meet the film’s producers and participants, and take in the historic surroundings of First Baptist Church.
