The South Carolina Ag + Art Tour is a free, self-guided tour of designated farms in South Carolina featuring local artisans and farmer’s markets. It is the largest Ag + Art Tour in the country. During the tour visitors have the opportunity to see first-hand where their food comes from, watch artists in action and purchase their works, dance to the melodies of bluegrass and folksongs, and learn more about farm life.
This year, in partnership with Lowcountry Farm Conservation, Charleston County will join 10 other counties in South Carolina to host its inaugural Ag + Art Tour, which includes 10 farms, 30+ Artisans, and spans from Johns Island, to Holly Hill, to McClellanville. As a “choose your own adventure” event, featuring everything from Goat Dairies to Blueberry Farms, and including 3 area farmers markets, there is something for everyone. There is no cost to patrons, and everyone is welcome to visit one farm or all farms in any order they see fit.
