Middleton Place welcomes the media and enjoys the opportunity to continue informing the public about Middleton Place, National Historic Landmark, and the award-winning accommodations at the Inn at Middleton Place.
Media representatives on a current, related assignment are given complimentary admission to Middleton Place or the Edmondston-Alston House and a press rate is available for overnight stays at the Inn at Middleton Place. Visits of Middleton Place or the Inn at Middleton Place must be scheduled in advance with the Marketing and Public Relations Department.
Media and photography representatives must be accompanied by a Public Relations representative when inside the Middleton Place House Museum and the Edmondston-Alston House or at the Inn at Middleton Place. It is at the discretion of the Public Relations Department to accompany media and photography representatives while in the Gardens and Stableyards.
Photography is not permitted in the Middleton Place House Museum or the Edmondston-Alston House unless permission is received from the Public Relations Department at Middleton Place. The Public Relations Department must approve photography at Middleton Place, the Inn at Middleton Place or the Edmondston-Alston House to be used for a commercial purpose and a fee may be charged.
Middleton Place has been the setting for numerous movies and photo shoots. For more information about using Middleton Place or the Edmondston-Alston House as a film or photo shoot location, please contact the Marketing and Public Relations Department.
