Explore your interest in American and African American history, agriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture and plantation life by becoming a volunteer at Middleton Place.
Volunteers play a key role in the success of programs and the experience of visitors at Middleton Place and the Edmondston-Alston House. Volunteering for the Middleton Place Foundation builds social and professional contacts, and you will become a part of an organization that represents Middleton Place and the Edmondston-Alston House to thousands of visitors annually. Currently over 300 volunteers are assisting in almost every facet of the Foundation’s programs.
Volunteers receive a complimentary membership to the Middleton Place Foundation, are invited to attend educational field trips and lectures and receive discounts at the Museum Shop and Middleton Place Restaurant.
Middleton Place volunteer orientation sessions are held throughout the year. Prospective volunteers will go on Garden Overview, House Museum and Stableyards tours as well as meet with current Middleton Place Foundation volunteers.
