"Beyond the Fields: Slavery at Middleton Place", a documentary set to release in 2017, will feature information highlighted at the National Historic Landmark site in Charleston, SC. Expanding on a book of the same name, the Middleton Place Foundation seeks to continue the conversation about enslaved communities on rice growing plantations, through the lens of Middleton Place itself.
